Capital Trial Consulting Position with Texas Defender Service

Wanted: Trial attorney with capital case experience to monitor, counsel, and assist capital defense teams defending foreign nationals.  This attorney must be eligible for licensure in Texas and have at least four years of trial-level defense experience.  Some post-conviction experience is desirable but not required.  Superior research and writing skills, and a thorough understanding of and commitment to client-centered, team-based capital defense also are required.  This position will be based in either Houston or Austin and will involve extensive travel throughout Texas.  Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Spanish is preferred.
