Cynthia Hujar Orr became president.
During Cynthia Orr presidency CDLP attempted to employ two innocence coordinators adding to the prior innocence network that had been established in 2000. During her tenure as president, Cynthia initiated innocence work, led a Death Penalty Think Tank even in Chicago, and lead TCDLA’s efforts to establish an ongoing dialogue with the Court of Criminal Appeals related to the CDLP grant.
