Mark Daniel became president.

In June of 2002, TCDLA saw Mark Daniel become the new president of TCDLA. When Mark Daniel entered office TCDLA had acquired a new facility for its home office at 17th and Nueces in Austin, Texas. Mark believed that TCDLA was only as strong as the level of support it could provide its most vulnerable members.

The Liaisons Committee to the Texas Lawyers Assistance Program and Lawyers Concerned with Lawyers was developed by Mark in order to better serve lawyers that find themselves in the midst of a struggle. During his year in office an agreement was also made to expand TCDLA’s CLE program base to rural areas all over Texas, minimizing travel and better serving members.

Increasing membership benefits was a major point of interest for Mark Daniel.
